Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking an IT Enterprise Architect with an active secret clearance to assist a federal client in the DC Metropolitan area. This role is remote for now but could change due to the mandates, so we are looking for candidates willing to work hybrid in Alexandria, VA.
Primary job duties and responsibilities :
- Analyze the current IT environment to identify deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Translate the clients’ business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on what technologies best meet their business needs.
- Create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team.
- Provide technical leadership and support to the IT team.
- Analyze client’s business problems and provide recommendations on Target Architecture and selection of new IT into existing portfolio.
- Develop and execute tests to ensure that systems meet the established requirements.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the field of IT architecture.
- Provide detailed documentation of all architectural design and associated work.
- Create standards, use automation when available, document new solutions, and ensure and establish data pipelines.
- Provide expertise and guidance on architecture designed to address client business problems.
- Analyze and identify all or part of an organization’s existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technological needs.
- Establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware / software interface problems, define input / output parameters, and ensure integration of the system or subsystem via data exchange methodologies.
- Participate in technical exchange and governance meetings used to develop, issue, and monitor the implementation of guidance on systems / architectures.
