Global Trainee Program – Manufacturing (Industrial Operations)
The Global Trainee Program is an intensive two-year program that supports development of promising professionals with the potential to become future leaders in Tenaris. A Global Trainee will build expertise, engage with colleagues around the world, and demonstrate performance while learning about Tenaris's culture and industrial heritage leaving them prepared to take the next steps in their career.
Manufacturing /Industrial Operations main responsibilities:
- Supports and follows the production process, ensuring that production programs are completed. Ensures compliance with the budget and that the correct operation of the Equipments comply with quality and safety standards. Guarantees the continuity of the production process and its continuous improvement.
- Analyzes and solves any operating and non-operating problems that may arise in the area and determines the causes for problems and the corrective actions to be taken to solve it.
- Follows-up action plans to reduce the variability of the processes.
- Controls the production and makes sure that quality and security standards are met.
- Ensures the equipment's correct functioning by working together with the maintenance area in the identification of potential problems, in improvements to be implemented as well as in machinery reinstallations to be made.
- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility. To participate in HSE objectives setting, define and implement programs and actions applicable to the area of responsibility for continual improvement of HSE performance.
- Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
Requirements:
- BS Engineering: Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related field
- Up to 2 years of professional experience after graduation
- Results-driven, team-oriented, analytical, problem-solving skills, strong communication skills
