Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time CDL Class B Commercial Tour Bus Driver to join our team at Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As a Tour Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely driving motor vehicles over specified routes and destinations to transport guests and other individuals to establishments and tour site locations. What will you do?
- Research various topics, including site history, environmental conditions, and plant life to describe points of interest
- Ensure proper working condition for the vehicles being used for the tours and transportation
- Follow daily inspection, complete the daily vehicle inspection report, immediately report any unsafe conditions, and identify maintenance needs
- Remove trash and debris from the interior of the vehicles at the conclusion of every drive
- Perform first aid, direct emergency evacuations, and assist passengers as needed on and off vehicle
- Operates motor vehicle as necessary.
More about you
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in driving with a commercial driver’s license.
- Possess a valid California driver’s license and active CDL
- Prior tour industry experience is beneficial
- Ability to drive in all types of conditions including snow, sleet, rain, hail, sunshine, wind, overcast, and on mountain roads
