What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Interior Designer position at TenBerke?
TenBerke is seeking an Entry Level Interior Designer for our residential interior design department. The Designer will assist on multiple projects in the firm.
You Must Have:
- 1-2 years of design experience and implementation on residential projects preferred
- Knowledge of furniture, fabric, rugs, and accessory sourcing
- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel); familiarity with Studio Designer, Rhino, VRay, Enscape, and Revit desired
- Excellent graphic, communication, and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills, thrives in a collaborative environmen and understands the importance of supporting design team members
- Specification and purchasing experience
- Ability to follow through and manage up
- Able to Identify and implement actionable steps to resolve problems
- Ability to research, analyze and critically review information
- Demonstrated proficiency with design, technical design, space planning, and presentation tasks
- Pro-active, self-disciplined, and confident in a fast-paced working environment
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and hands-on
- Ability to work on and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ability to prioritize workflow in order to meet deadlines
- Willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team and studio
- Possess all legal permits and visas required to work in the U.S.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
