Finishing Operator
Scope:
Responsible to operate twisters per the Standard Operating Procedures and ensure the line produces first quality material.
Summary of Position:
Ensures production plans are achieved to meet customer requirements. Operates equipment to produce material per established production processes and work orders. Ensure a culture of safety throughout the site by adhering to all safety policies and procedures

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload tubes onto buggy then into Alma.
- String the Alma using a stringer in a timely manner.
- Tie and doff from each Alma position on Alma belt.
- Unload belt and inspect each tube; put an inspection sticker in every tube
- Perform final quality review on all packaged yarn. Every tube must meet TenCate standards and have a product label and inspection label
- All belt tubes stacked neatly on skid.
- Keep tubes labeled and put up on Alma
- Keep work area clean
- Tie correct knot and splice rolls as needed
Qualifications:
- High School or GED required.
- 6 months or more continuous experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Interactive skills to effectively work as part of team
- Communicate effectively through verbal and written communication
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Work Environment:
- Due to the open environment, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
- This is an onsite job and is NOT remote. Regular and predictive attendance is mandatory.
Physical Demands:
- Required to stand for long periods of time (12 hours shifts).
- May involve repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
- May also engage in frequent bending stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling or parts and containers.
