Summary/Objective
Operates and tends to the machine that dyes fabric.
Essential Functions

- Ability to interpret Dye schedules, Dye packets, and set-up sheets.
- Ability to navigate through various computer systems such as JOMAR and Adaptive Control System.
- Must be able to sew seams with industrial sewing machine.
- Must have good color and shade perception.
- Ability to push and pull heavy loads of fabric in a hot, wet environment.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The candidate is frequently exposed to noise, dust and various chemicals, and moving mechanical parts requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection and non-skid shoes.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear. This employee may be required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, and frequently lift up to 50 Ibs. The employee must have 20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 vision.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 11pm to 9am. Weekends and overtime may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Little to no travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to operate a tugger or forklift. Certification to operate these units will be required.
