Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Operation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing IT services, overseeing IT operations, and handling onboarding and offboarding processes. This role requires strong technical expertise, operational efficiency, and the ability to provide excellent IT services to support business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Hardware Asset Management: Track, manage, and maintain IT hardware assets, including procurement, inventory control, lifecycle management, and decommissioning.
- IT Operations Support: Ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user computing devices.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the IT provisioning and de-provisioning process for employees, including account creation, hardware allocation, and access management.
- Service Delivery & Support: Provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot IT issues, and ensure timely resolution through IT service management processes.
- IT Process Improvement: Develop and implement best practices for IT operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with HR, IT Security, and other teams to streamline IT-related processes and improve user experience.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Coordinate with external vendors for IT equipment procurement, service agreements, and maintenance contracts.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate IT asset records, operational logs, and generate reports as needed.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure IT systems and processes comply with company security policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in IT operations, service delivery, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT asset management, IT service management (ITSM), and IT operations best practices.
- Experience with onboarding/offboarding processes and identity/access management tools.
- Proficiency in managing Windows and macOS environments, networking fundamentals, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a global IT environment.
- Knowledge of automation tools for IT operations.
- Familiarity with cloud-based IT infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, etc.).
