Home Health Aide

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. This role is crucial in assisting clients with daily living activities and promoting independence while adhering to professional standards.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with mobility and physical activities, including lifting when necessary.
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Assist with medication reminders and basic health management.
• Provide catheter care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, following HIPAA regulations.
• Support clients in hospice care by providing compassionate end-of-li

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home care or assisted living environments is preferred.
• Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of caregiving techniques and best practices for client care.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Familiarity with catheter care procedures is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to lift clients safely and assist them in mobility tasks.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
