Salary: $22 - $30

Job Overview:

We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow Shovelers for the upcoming winter season. As a Snow Shoveler, you will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, and other areas to ensure safe and accessible pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks and building entrances using snow shovels.
• Apply de-icing materials to prevent slippery conditions.
• Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner wearing proper cold weather gear and adhering to company safety guidelines.
• Be on-call and available for work as required by weather conditions, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Physical Fitness: Must be able to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting heavy snow and operating snow removal equipment. Regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body; be able to reach overhead; be able to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time; be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks; and be able to frequently lift 50 pounds of weight throughout the assigned workday.
• Reliability: Ability to report to work on time and as scheduled, often with short notice.
• Experience: Previous experience in snow removal or outdoor labor is preferred but not required.
• Work Ethic: Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and safety.
• Snow Gear: Have and wear proper cold weather attire.
• License: A valid drivers license.
  
  

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor Work: Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, including freezing temperatures, snow, and ice.
• Hours: Midnight to 8am. Hours will vary based on snowfall and may require early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
