Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead and oversee the daily operations of our agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DODD regulations, Medicaid waiver services, compliance, and operational management within a provider agency. This individual will play a key role in ensuring high-quality services, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving the agency’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the agency, ensuring compliance with DODD, Medicaid, and state regulations.
- Lead and manage Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), supervisors, and administrative staff, ensuring quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure timely documentation, incident reporting, and adherence to Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
- Manage relationships with county boards, case managers, and other key stakeholders to facilitate service expansion.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Monitor and manage the budget, financials, and resources to optimize agency operations.
- Drive growth and expansion efforts, including securing new service contracts and identifying opportunities for development.
- Conduct internal audits and quality assurance to ensure continuous improvement.
- Respond to and resolve crisis situations while implementing proactive risk management strategies.
Qualifications:
- Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in an operational leadership role within a DODD-certified provider agency.
- In-depth knowledge of Ohio DODD regulations, Medicaid waiver services, and provider compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing budgets, staffing, and agency-wide operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with county boards, service coordinators, and regulatory bodies.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Services, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
- Must be able to pass background checks, drug screening, and other state-mandated requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience expanding services and securing contracts within the DODD system.
- Knowledge of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and billing for Medicaid waiver services.
- Strong understanding of incident reporting (UI/MUI) and compliance audits.
