About us
Tender Loving Care is looking for a full-time Trained Montessori Teacher or a Preschool Teacher to start in September. Teaching our toddler/ Pre-Primary children ages 15 mos `51/2 years old. We are looking for a Montessori teacher or an Early Childhood Education teacher. Child Development or a related field or combination of training and experience will be considered if you are director qualified and can teach within the toddler or primary program this job is for you. The candidate should be capable of preparing a differentiated nurturing learning experience in the Montessori environment. Essential qualifications: Energetic, warm personality, engaging, creative, good organizational skills, computer literate, and passionate about directing a school. Able to communicate well with parents, children, co-workers. A wiliness to working up to an 8 hour day. Immediate Hire.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers and pre-primary students.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Foster effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support child development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
- Collaborate in curriculum development and participate in ongoing professional development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
