Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
- Assist with acute pain management strategies for patients.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patient conditions.
- Provide care for infants and seniors, ensuring their specific health needs are met.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in a Level I Trauma Center setting to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Implement infection control measures to prevent the spread of illness within the facility.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness practices.
- Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in assisted living or senior care is preferred.
- Familiarity with botulinum toxin treatment is a plus.
- Strong skills in vital signs monitoring and acute pain management.
- Knowledge of infection control practices is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
