Teacher's Aide

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated persons to join our Christian Child Care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves supporting the lead teachers with the children. Age of children varies per classroom

Duties

• Assist teacher in Implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Manage classroom activities, ensuring a positive faith-based environment for all students.
• Provide care including assistance with daily routines and personal hygiene.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Foster social skills through group activities and collaborative learning experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Observe and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.

Skills

• Experience working with children in an educational or daycare setting.
• Love for children
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff to support students with diverse needs.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
