This role identifies, engages, sells, and manages ongoing relationships with business accounts, exhibiting a high degree of proficiency in educational and relationship selling. This position is responsible for promoting and selling Tendit’s suite of facility services to new and existing commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts

This position is responsible for promoting and selling Tendit’s suite of facility services to new and existing commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding service inquiries, scheduling, and follow-up, providing exceptional customer service.
- Interfacing with ops and account managers to make sure everything is running on schedule and keep every abreast of any developments
- Track and manage work orders, from initial request to completion, and update the CRM system with all relevant information.
- Getting in front of potential service and client issues and communicating that to the front-line person
- Keeping up to date on services offered to clients and how to leverage that client with more services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding all service-related inquiries, including scheduling, job progress, and follow-up.
- Answer calls pertaining to sales inquiries as well as quality assurance on our work performed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client calls, emails, and messages to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Proactively update clients on scheduled service times, any potential delays, or rescheduling needs, ensuring they feel informed and valued.
- Conduct post-service follow-ups to gather feedback, address any concerns, and confirm client satisfaction with the completed work.
- Coordinate closely with the operations team to ensure that each scheduled service is adequately staffed, equipped, and prepared, confirming that all requirements for service completion are met.
- Communicate regularly with Account Managers to keep them informed of service progress, anticipated delays, and any significant client feedback.
- Act as a liaison between field technicians, operations, and Account Managers to resolve logistical challenges quickly and keep all stakeholders aligned.?
- Monitor the service calendar daily and inform operations or account reps of any updates, adjustments, or notable developments to maintain a seamless client experience.
- Create, track, and manage work orders from initial client request through to completion, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date in the CRM system.
- Update work order details promptly, including service dates, technician notes, and any additional client requirements or preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered, tracking each work order’s status in real-time to facilitate smooth transitions between scheduling, dispatch, and completion stages.
- Ensure that completed work orders are properly closed out, with final details and client feedback logged in the CRM for future reference.
- Anticipate potential service issues by actively monitoring service schedules, equipment availability, and client-specific requests or concerns.
- Intake necessary information for claim reporting to submit to the claim department.
- Communicate promptly with clients when service issues are identified, offering solutions and updated timelines to manage expectations and minimize dissatisfaction.
- Coordinate with field technicians and account reps to resolve service issues on the front line, including staffing changes, equipment delays, or unforeseen site challenges.
- Document recurring issues and communicate these patterns to the operations team to improve future scheduling, planning, and client interactions.
- Stay informed of all current services offered, promotions, and value-added options available for clients in the exterior facility maintenance portfolio.
- Review client service history regularly to identify gaps in services or potential opportunities for additional offerings that could meet their needs.
- Coordinate with Account Managers to identify upsell opportunities and present new service recommendations during routine client communications or follow-up calls.
- Participate in monthly meetings with sales and operations to discuss account growth strategies, client feedback, and ways to deepen service relationships.
- High School Diploma is required.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of business-to-business sales experience required.
- Excellence in relationship-building skills.
- High level of confidence and ease in engaging existing clients and prospects alike.
- Strong sense of team and ability to work with internal partners.
- Experience in a service coordination, dispatch, or scheduling role.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Can overcome customer objections and conflict resolution.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Exposure to or experience in scheduling software and CRM systems.
- Existing facilities client base is a plus!
