The primary responsibility of this role is to safely operate a tandem dump truck for the loading, transportation, and delivery of asphalt and other construction materials to job sites. This position plays a critical role in supporting paving operations and ensuring timely material delivery.

About The Role
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class B CDL Tandem Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely operate a tandem dump truck for the loading, transportation, and delivery of asphalt and other construction materials to job sites. This position plays a critical role in supporting paving operations and ensuring timely material delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tandem axle dump truck to haul and deliver asphalt to and from construction sites.
- Ensure accurate and safe loading of asphalt and other materials.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, crew members, and supervisors regarding job details and delivery timing.
- Assist with general labor or site work when required.
- Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating tandem dump trucks, preferably in the asphalt or construction industry.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to operate truck in tight job site conditions.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
- Familiarity with asphalt materials and paving operations.
- Experience working on active construction sites.
