Position Summary

This position will manage traffic all traffic control operations of assigned projects.. This position will work with the Project Managers as well as field leadership, and will be responsible for planning, direction, and execution all traffic control activities including flagging operations, traffic cones, and road signage. The Supervisor will review project plans to establish work plans to ensure that these items are laid out according to job site plans, and remain in place throughout the duration of work being performed.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of traffic control operations at assigned company project locations.
• Responsible for proper placement of all traffic safety related items including but not limited to: barricades, road cones, and safety-related traffic signage.
• Assist the and Safety Manager in ensuring crew members at assigned job sites are utilizing proper PPE.
• Maintain accurate Driver Vehicle Inspection Reporting for assigned projects
• Promotes training, and teamwork and maximizes traffic safety operations.
• Attendance at Construction meetings, and assist with creating project plans in relation to traffic control and safety.
• Meet with the general contractor and owner’s Rep onsite to review work plan and ensure proper execution.
• Meeting with the project crew to deliver traffic control expectations.
• Engagement with crew members throughout the duration of each project.
• Confirmation of equipment and material needs for each project.
• Loading, staging, and preparation of traffic control materials.
• Maintaining project documentation and serving as a liaison for operations and safety departments.
• Responsible for accuracy and completion of daily traffic control and safety reports.
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly status updates to the Project Manager and on assigned projects.
• Act as the safety officer on field and ensures company safety procedures are being followed.
• Additional Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is a requirement.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience with active ATTSA Traffic Control Certification is a requirement
• Must have a valid driver’s license with exceptional driving history.
• Ability to read road maps and understand project planning documentation is required.
• Endorsements and OSHA training are preferred qualifications
• Aptitude for mechanics.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Capacity to analyze situations and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Written and verbal communication ability.
• Basic knowledge and use of computer software. i.e. spreadsheets, etc.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Bilingual is a plus

Compensation for this position is $23.00 - $30.00, depending on experience.
