Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

MRI Technologist Per Diem Nights Position Summary
Works with the Radiologists and other personnel to perform technical procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Coordinates with other departments the day-to-day activity for MRI safety and procedures.
SPECIAL SKILLS : Good verbal and written communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.
SUPERVISES : Functional supervision will be exercised over cross-training Radiology Technologists and / or students.
THE MRI TECHNOLOGIST PER DIEM NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION : Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : Prior general radiology experience or prior MRI hospital experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Three years MRI hospital experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURE : Current Certification for ARRT, MRTBE, ARDMS, JRCNMT, NMTCB or ARMRIT. CPR.
