Pharmacy Tech I Full Time Evening Position Summary
The individual in this position will assist in preparing, packaging, delivering, and charging of medications, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Position duties include the following activities :
SPECIAL SKILLS : Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above average pressure. Must have basic computer skills. Excellent customer service skills. Must be willing to work in all areas of the pharmacy services as assigned. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members required.
THE PHARMACY TECH I FULL TIME EVENING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION : High School diploma or GED or equivalent training required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Previous hospital pharmacy experience, IV experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURE : Licensed in the State of Arizona as a Pharmacy Technician in training.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS / REGISTRATION : Licensed in the State of Arizona as a Pharmacy Technician, Pharmacy technician certification.
