We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Nogales, Arizona.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will evaluate, plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of speech language pathology. They will function as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/re-assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation. This role involves working with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency, as applicable. The candidate must complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
The ideal candidate will respond to physician orders for physical therapy, administer and interpret tests and measurements of patients, review patient charts and progress prior to treatment, and modify the treatment plan accordingly. They will develop functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations and develop, improve and restore cognitive skills, language comprehension, and language expression skills through comprehensive assessment and testing. Additionally, they will seek clarification of physician orders as needed.
Requirements
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: State Licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- EDUCATION: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Sciences and Disorders
- WORK EXPERIENCE: Preferred: Competency in performing modified barium swallow exams
