Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians
- Work on complex cases, including those in ICU and PACU
- Train and mentor staff members
- Perform various procedures, including diagnostic testing and hemodynamics
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of asepsis and infection control practices, as well as excellent customer service skills. They must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
A Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field is preferred, along with relevant experience working in acute care settings. The ideal candidate will be able to precept students and orientees and take on a leadership role to meet department needs.
