What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Specialist MFM position at Tenet Florida Physician Services?
The Scheduler is primarily responsible for providing complete patient scheduling functions for the assigned physician. Coordinates scheduling and appointments for all physicians while facilitating with patients. Obtains necessary authorizations and referrals from primary care physicians, specialists, and insurance companies. Medical office coordinator and additional duties may be assigned.
Intake specialist will coordinate with the DOH and HCD on referrals and scheduling. The knowledge of OB or MFM is required.
