Position Summary
Reporting to the Telecommunications Supervisor, the Communications Coordinator under general supervision, provides preventive maintenance, and systems repair for communication telephonic and communication mainframe systems, maintenance of voice, data, and video communication systems, provides diagnostics to maintain telecommunications systems and mainframes and troubleshoots problems and contacts appropriate vendors for service and support. Provides compliance of telephonc systems in accordance with policies, procedures, standards and practices set by Doctors Medical Center, Joint Commission, State Department of Health Services, and other local and government agencies through out the Northern Californian market. When deemed necessary will provide coverage at DMC for PTO allotment and sick calls. This will require the Telecom System Coordinator to perform day to day work along side of the DMC current telecom technicians at times but limitied.
Qualifications
Minimum Education : High School Diploma required, Associates degree or higher preferred
Minimum Experience / Skills : 5 years of experience in telecommunications

Vision Requirements : Ability to adjust vision sufficiently to perform position accountabilities
Working Conditions : Regularly exposed to the risk of contagious and blood borne diseases, subject to varying and unpredictable situations, exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, illness), emergency and crisis situations, subject to irregular hours, occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries, occasional exposure to radiation hazards, radioactive substances, and biohazards.
