Tenet Massachusetts is a leader in healthcare delivery, and we are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Coordinator in the PACU. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and facilitating an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, patient flow, staffing, resource utilization, and problem-solving.
About the Opportunity
- Responsible for leading and managing the PACU team to ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the director to develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and enhance employee engagement.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and identify areas for improvement to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, to ensure they meet established standards of care.
- Patient Safety: Monitor and report any safety concerns or incidents, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement changes that enhance patient safety.
- Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research findings to ensure evidence-based care.
