Position Summary
Primarily responsible for monitoring services and providing community support services and therapeutic services. The Behavioral Health Counselor uses a basic knowledge of diagnostic characteristics, symptomology of primary mental illness and knowledge of medications, side effects and benefits to provide services in a person-centered, supportive, community-based environment.
The Behavioral Health Counselor will work in a collaborative environment with other professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients. This role requires a strong understanding of mental health conditions and their treatment options, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences, and will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
