This is an outpatient physical therapy position located in the Wellness Center. We are seeking a full-time physical therapist in our rapidly growing outpatient facility.
MetroWest Medical Center is the largest community health care system between Worcester and Boston. It is committed to providing high quality, comprehensive care at a location close to home.
The 307-bed regional healthcare system includes Framingham Union Hospital, Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick and the MetroWest Wellness Center.
Position Summary:
Evaluates, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/re-assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation.
Responsibilities include responding to physician orders for physical therapy, administering and interpreting tests and measurements of patients, reviewing patient charts and progress prior to treatment and modifying treatment plan accordingly, developing functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations.
Certifications:
Required: State Licensure
