Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Technician Lead will facilitate the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit, ensuring a safe and supportive space for patients. This role involves establishing a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients and assisting them with daily living activities.
Responsibilities include taking vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting routine specimens. The successful candidate will also attend and participate in group therapy, in-service education, and staff meetings.
This role requires a minimum of 60 hours of human services, psychology, education, sociology, or a related field, and one year of experience. Certification in CPR is also mandatory.
