Ultrasound Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Tenet Massachusetts.
Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, the Ultrasound Technologist will perform basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures as requested by licensed physicians. The successful candidate will exercise professional judgment in providing healthcare services to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients across all age groups.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
- Assist with amniocentesis procedures and biopsies.
- Process and file films as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography.
- Registered with ARDMS or ARRT within 24 months of graduation (12 months of hire).
- BLS certified.
