About the Role
Evaluate, plan, and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
Fully engages in an interdisciplinary approach, providing patient assessment/re-assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation.
Responsibilities
- Administers and interprets tests and measurements of patients, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
- Reviews patient charts and progress prior to treatment, modifying the treatment plan accordingly.
- Develops functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations, promoting independence and rehabilitation.
Education and Experience
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
- 2 years of experience as a practicing OT in a healthcare setting preferred.
