What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Developer Intern, Front End position at Tenet3®?
Tenet3 is seeking a rising junior or senior to become a software developer intern. In this position, you will support research and development efforts on systems security engineering, platform information technology and trusted and assured microelectronics. You will develop integration tests to verify features and performance for our flagship SaaS platform, MeTRA®. You will also develop experience with web applications, automation and cloud technologies.
Intern function / placement could be in Front End, Back End, Quality Engineering, or Cloud Development.
Essential Job Duties
Must be a student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar discipline. Minimum 3.7 GPA required.

Essential Job Duties
- Develop cross-browser integration tests to verify behavior of the MeTRA® SaaS platform using React and JavaScript
- Integrate tests with our continuous integration system
- Coordinate development activities with other team members using Gitlab
- Work with QA engineers and backend developers to ensure software meets requirements and design specifications
- Eligibility to establish and maintain a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance (Must be US Citizen)
- Must be a junior or senior in the fall 2025 semester
- A work portfolio demonstrating clean, well-tested front end code (Github, Codepen, personal website or equivalent)
- Extensive nowledge in a modern programming language
- Must be available to work in person in Dayton OH.
