Qualifications
- Washington State Teacher Certification with appropriate endorsement.
- Successful teaching experience.
- Knowledge of subject matter in classroom instruction.
- Successful Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint clearance.
- Ability to relate to children and their families in a positive and cooperative manner.
- Ability to relate to staff in a cooperative and positive manner.
- Develop age appropriate lesson plans to meet group and individual needs.
- Present, adapt, and provide instruction for identified youth.
- Complete all required documentation of student learning.
- Be a contributing member of grade level, building, and district teams.
- Ability to present and speak to large groups, parents, and citizens.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Principal designee.
- Use engaging instructional methods and materials consistent with the District's professional development offerings.
- Effectively utilize district technology.
- Use effective classroom management techniques by establishing, sharing, and maintaining standards of pupil behavior, consistent with building and district policy.
- Evaluate pupils' academic and social growth, maintain appropriate records and prepare progress reports and report cards.
- Maintain a regular attendance report and enter grades into the designated system as per district policy.
- Attend staff and PLC meetings.
- Develop, maintain and follow frameworks consistent with courses being offered.
- Comply with district policies, rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Physical ability to lift 25 pounds to shoulder height.
