Supervisor(s) : Building Principal
Contract / Salary : $200 / day (first 20 days), after 20 days pay is based on the 24-25 TEA Salary Schedule

Job Expectations & Responsibilities :
- Skills to promote learning of mathematics at various levels.
- Experience and / or expertise in differentiating math lessons / materials to address the needs of all students.
- Knowledge in high level intervention math strategies.
- Knowledge and skills to provide rigorous instruction with high levels of student engagement.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing building and district professional development.
- Ability and willingness to forge positive, professional relationships with students.
- Knowledge of the Smarter Balanced Assessments.
- Motivate students, communicate with individuals from varied educational and cultural backgrounds, direct support personnel, and evaluate performance.
- Assess student's skills to provide timely feedback to students, parents / guardians and administration regarding student's progress, expectations, goals, etc.
- Collaborate with school personnel, parents, / guardians and various community agencies to improve the quality of student outcomes, develop solutions and plan curriculum.
- Demonstrate methods to perform tasks safely and / or accurately.
- Direct Para Educators, volunteers and / or student assistants to provide an effective school program and address the needs of individual students.
- Manage student behavior in accordance with the school PBIS system (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support) to provide a safe and optimal learning environment.
- Prepare teaching materials and reports (e.g., grades, attendance, records, etc.), implement lesson plans and provide documentation of student progress.
- Report incidents (e.g., suspected child abuse, suspected substance abuse, etc.) to maintain personal safety of students, provide a positive learning environment and adhere to educational code, district and / or school policies.
- Support classroom teachers and other school personnel in the implementation of classroom goals and individual student plans.
- Other duties as assigned by the principal or principal designee.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, perform a variety of specialized tasks, maintain records, personnel, and meet schedules and deadlines. Significant physical abilities include lifting / carrying, reaching / handling, talking and hearing conversations, near / far visual acuity, depth perception, accommodation / field of vision.
