As a team member at our Thai Baan at Tenmile Distillery, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Job Requirement:
· Greet customers and present menus.
· Make recommendations and answer all related inquiries about the menu.
· Check identification of customers to verify they are of legal age.
· Record food and drink orders accurately into the register system.
· Deliver food and beverages to customers at their tables.
· Ensure meals are prepared in accordance with standard recipes.
· Upsell food and beverage items to enhance customer experience.
· Respond promptly to requests from customers in a polite and professional manner.
· Address any issues related to customer satisfaction and dining experience.
· Process transactions using the POS system.
· Prepare checks for customers when they’re ready to pay.
· Handle customer payments efficiently.
· Maintain an organized and appealing dining area.
· Ensure clean utensils, equipment, and working areas.
· Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies.

Education, Certifications and /or licenses:
· High School Diploma preferred
Experience:
· Understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and
garnishments
· Knowledge and education in food preparation and cooking techniques an advantage
· Cash-handling skills
· Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters
Knowledge/Skills:
· Working knowledge of service techniques
· Working knowledge of spirits, wine and beer
· Working knowledge of POS navigation
Physical Demand:
· Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level, including delivery when
needed.
· Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products
and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
· Standing and walking during entire shift covering large areas
Working Conditions and Environment:
· Hours may vary but amount to 30hrs, Able to work flexible schedules
· Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level, including delivery when
needed.
· Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products
and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
· Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operates phones,
computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.
· Essential hand/eye coordination
· Work is normally performed in a typical interior restaurant/bar/casino work
environment
· Noise level is moderate to high
· Limited exposure to physical risk
· Moderate physical effort required
