Job Overview
Tenn Pin Alley Family Entertainment Center is seeking an outgoing, high-energy Server who is ready to be part of the growing, high volume, and fast-paced Entertainment industry! As a Lane Server, providing food and beverage to guests on our bowling lanes and outside dining areas, you are an ambassador of our family entertainment center that everyone, from guests to team members to managers enjoys working with because of your effective and professional communication, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities. Responsibilities
- Communicate in a friendly, upbeat, and consistent manner with every guest and team member - always wear a smile
- Provide food and alcohol service to guests at assigned bowling lanes, just like restaurant service. Includes: taking and delivering orders, reviewing orders for accuracy, checking back with guests routinely, solving issues promptly and courteously, and accepting payment and making change
- Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed
- Guide our guests with food and beverage suggestions through your excellent knowledge of our menus. Have a personal favorite on the menu – Let our guests know!
- Be knowledgeable of daily/weekly food, beverage, attraction & bowling specials and promos
- Stay organized and prepared; set up, stock, and organize your assigned work area prior to guest arrival
- ID everyone ordering alcohol. Be responsible when it comes to selling and serving alcohol to our guests and be sure to comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Help maintain table and floor cleanliness during shift with assistance from Lane Porters and Food Runners when necessary
- Take ownership of the appearance of the inside of the facility ensuring guests are presented with an environment that is clean, organized, and trash free
- Teamwork, time management, and multitasking
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
