About the Role
In this key position at Tenneco, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies across our global operations. As a seasoned professional with expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and Process Improvement, you will serve as a trusted advisor and Subject Matter Expert on Continuous Improvement.
Main Accountabilities:
- Leverage your expertise to facilitate projects aimed at driving operational excellence and identifying areas for cost reduction and process performance improvement.
- Develop and maintain a robust CI implementation schedule for assigned projects, ensuring timely progress updates and comprehensive documentation.
- Design and deliver impactful CI training programs at all levels of the Plant, empowering employees to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead kaizen events to resolve quality issues and concerns, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a proven track record of driving Lean, Six Sigma, and Process Improvement initiatives.
- Hold a Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification, demonstrating your expertise in these critical areas.
- Be an exceptional communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Have experience with Constraint Management and controlled problem-solving tests.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and the ability to operate independently under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with writing standardized work is essential.
