Busy ophthalmology practice is seeking reliable candidates with outstanding patient service skills. The ideal candidate will be a team-player, self-starter, friendly, motivated, organized, and have the ability to work independently while sustaining a team environment. A caring demeanor and the ability to build and maintain patient rapport is critical. The candidate must be highly productive and eager to learn.
The ideal candidate duties will include:
Creating a welcoming and courteous environment while establishing a positive encounter
with patients.
- Good communication skills with a friendly personality.
- Helping patients select eyeglasses given their needs.
- Taking accurate frame and lens measurements
- Accurately check in all orders for quality control
- Dispense eyewear and contact lenses
- Repair and adjust patient frames
- Maintain frame boards with sales representatives
- Basic computer skills
- Reconcile all optical invoices for accuracy
- Assist in other areas when needed
- Bilingual (Spanish or Polish) speaking a plus
