Job Summary
Tutors work one-on-one and with groups of students to help them learn an academic subject or a specific skill.
Job Duties
- Must effectively communicate with students to help them learn complex subject-matter while maintaining their professionalism.
- Tutors should be organized and patient communicators with a friendly and approachable disposition that lends itself to work with students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
- Tutoring sessions are typically scheduled for an hour.
Minimum Qualifications
Pay Rate :
Starting pay is $15.00 / hour. Pay is increased based on experience and level of degree obtained.
Schedule / Hours :
No more than 29 hours may be worked a week (hours depend on budget availability and need). Hours are scheduled during normal business hours of 8 : 00-4 : 30, as well as evenings.
