Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Technical diploma or higher in the trade preferred and two (2) years’ experience in a higher education setting.
- Three years of office experience in career and technical education.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Evidence of excellent communication and computer skills.
- Possess organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform all Accounts Receivable duties including, but not limited to, student accounts, third-party billing, payments, outstanding checks, collections, bad debt reports, and annual 1098T.
- Provide bookstore staff with students’ available funds for purchases and assist with conducting bookstore inventory counts and end of fiscal year inventory.
- Update and reconcile student account information in QuickBooks and Banner Information System.
- Communicate with students regarding account balance, payment plans, and scholarship availability.
- Reconcile daily deposit documentation and provide weekly updates to
- reports.
- Participate in school, community, business, industry, and professional events.
- Assist with recruitment and student success including answering phone calls, assisting with walk-ins, disseminating information regarding the programs available, and providing tours of the college.
- Facilitate current students and prospective students with their financial aid applications (FASFA).
- Any other duties as assigned by Student Services Coordinator, Vice President, or President.
