GRASSLANDS CLUB: OUR MISSION

Located northeast of Nashville in the rapidly growing city of Gallatin, Tennessee, Grasslands Club offers a fully private golf and country club experience in a beautiful lakefront setting. The Club boasts two clubhouses featuring multiple private dining outlets, a full-service event center, two lakeside pools, two Bill Bergin-designed 18-hole championship golf courses, a 9-hole short course, a five-bay teaching facility, two fitness facilities, and a racquet sports complex with year-round access.

DAY TO DAY AS A GOLF COURSE EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

As a Golf Course Equipment Operator at Grasslands Club, you'll be the driving force behind our stunning fairways and rough areas! Your day-to-day will have you expertly navigating large equipment like mowing tractors, loaders, weed eaters and backhoes to keep our golf course looking impeccable. You'll mow fairways and roughs with precision, operate turf vacs, and even tackle aerification tasks under the guidance of your supervisor. Safety and equipment maintenance are key, so you'll ensure cooling systems are running smoothly, fuel and oil levels are topped off, and equipment is cleaned daily.

Your keen eye for detail will help you identify and report any equipment issues to our Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, allowing you to maintain the high standards we set at our country club. Join us in creating an exceptional experience for our golfers while having a blast outdoors!

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS GOLF COURSE EQUIPMENT OPERATOR JOB

To thrive as a Golf Course Equipment Operator at Grasslands Club, you'll need a solid foundation of skills and knowledge. A high school diploma is preferred, along with a valid driver's license to navigate our stunning grounds. Your excellent oral and written communication skills will be essential for collaborating with the team and following instructions accurately. A strong understanding of safe and efficient mechanical operations for tractors and other motorized equipment is a must, especially if you're familiar with Toro and Jacobsen models. Your mechanical aptitude will shine as you tackle daily maintenance tasks and troubleshoot any equipment issues.
