Position Summary :
The Revenue Administrative Assistant is responsible for handling the daily administrative duties of the business in the revenue cycle department. The Revenue Administrative Assistant will work within the team of Revenue Administrative Assistants for TIIA and will report directly to the Revenue Cycle Manager.
Job Functions :
- Answering incoming calls; directing calls appropriately, assisting patients with questions on accounts, and collecting payments.
- Regularly checks company's voicemail, returning voicemails and distributing messages appropriately
- Loading patient demographics and insurance information into the billing system.
- Handles the incoming mail and sorts for deposits.
- Scans documents into the billing system to create work batches for other positions.
- Assists the revenue cycle management and team in various administrative duties and special projects.
- Maintains strict confidentiality related to all patients' private health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated computer skills are required, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Detail oriented
- Ability to learn and adapt to company’s standard software program
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates ability to work in a self-directed, self-motivated manner
- Strong communication and customer service skills
