General Summary:

A nonexempt position responsible for MRI assisting duties to include: initial patient contact and front office duties associated with a patient, MRI appointment.

Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate exceptional customer service and patient focus to make each encounter as positive as possible

2.   Work closely with clinical colleagues and administrative teammates to develop a cohesive, high performing team

3.  Verify patient demographic information upon arrival.

4. Checking in and checking out patients for MRI appointments.

5. Ensures patient’s precert is complete and accurate for appointment.

6. Ensure that all documentation is scanned, and information entered accurately and swiftly

7. Utilize Excel to balance end of day collections

8. Scheduling return appointments for patients.

9. Collection of copayments and patient balances

10. Transports patient to and from MRI

11. Readies patient for scan

12. Completes end of day batch processes.

· Experience: Previous successful experience in a healthcare clinic/office environment or customer service role preferred, but not required

· Education: High School Diploma required
