Cookhouse Staff Qualifications: • Must be 18 with a current and valid Drivers License • High School Diploma or GED preferred • Previous chef, line cook, or professional food preparation experience preferred but not required •Food service certification or training is preferred • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and appliances • Knowledge of dietary restrictions • Weekend availability • Familiar with operation of Point of Sale systems and cash handling • Snowmobile and UTV experience preferred but not required • Excellent work ethic, dependability, customer service & communication skills • Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs
Cookhouse Staff Duties: Oversee the entire kitchen operation, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation • Safely prep and store food, with industry standard procedures: labeling with date • Follow recipes and ensure consistency across product • Meat Fabrication • Pack cooler for dinner service following itemized list • Daily cleaning of the Nordic Center kitchen and Cookhouse kitchen • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all food safety and health regulations • Dishwashing • Leading/Assisting putting away food orders properly • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence, always striving to improve kitchen operations
