OBJECTIVES :
The Operations Crew supports the operations team in all activities needed to provide a positive experience for all clients and internal departments. Responsible for the set-up and tear down of lobbies, meeting spaces and outdoor areas. This position assists with the maintenance & inventory of equipment & assets used in support of events at The TN Performing Arts Center
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with leaders of Events, Security, Food and Beverage, and Technical Departments to assist with event set up and break down in both front and back of house spaces.
- Set up and breakdown of catering and hospitality areas.
- Accept deliveries and restock food and beverage areas.
- Identify issues occurring at events and notify the Event Manager on Duty. May require assistance with resolving the issue if needed at that time.
- Assist with maintenance and inventory of operational equipment including tables and tablecloths, chairs, stanchions, crowd control barriers, food and beverage inventory, technical equipment, and signage for events.
- Assist with delivery and restocking of printed materials such as programs, brochures, or mailers.
- Occasionally work in a patron facing capacity and assist patrons with wayfinding throughout the theater
- Work closely with the Education department and escort students into and out of the building for educational performances
The above listed duties are not all inclusive. This position is expected to perform other work related duties as assigned even though they may not be considered primary duties
