This position will play a key role in advancing marketing initiatives and elevating the customer experience within the association.Essential Duties of PositionSocial Media & Event MarketingDevelops, coordinates, and executes social media content and activity for all conference & event propertiesMaintains and optimizes website content to ensure event information is current and impactfulComposes and refines compelling content for print and electronic promotional materials, such as emails, flyers, digital ads, social media graphics, brochures, etc.Conducts competitive research to identify industry trends and provides actionable recommendationsSupports the execution of marketing deliverables for sponsors and partners, ensuring timely fulfilmentTracks and analyzes campaign performance across all marketing channels, including email, social media, digital advertisements, etc. and develops post-campaign reportsBuilds and nurtures relationships with key partners for all events, providing them with necessary tools for promotion and keeping them abreast of event developmentsStays current with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., HubSpot, WordPress, Salesforce and selected virtual event platform)Manages invoices, contracts, and related documentation efficiently to ensure timely processing and adherence to deadlinesAssociation MarketingProvides administrative support for the marketing team, including meeting coordination, note-taking, and management of an overall calendar of marketing activities for the associationDesigns simple graphic assets for promotion, including social media graphics, one-pagers, and digital adsCollaborates with other teams across the association, responding to requests and providing support in a timely and efficient manner to ensure seamless communication and project executionSupports coordination with Public Affairs and Membership teams to promote membership, non-dues revenue activities, and new association initiatives on general AdvaMed social propertiesAssists Marketing department with campaign execution, including copywriting, copyediting, design support, and project managementCustomer ExperienceEnhances the customer experience across the AdvaMed portfolio of events, with strong emphasis on The MedTech ConferenceSupports customer communications via email, website support, chatbot interactions, and tracks frequently asked questions to develop effective response scriptsProactively seeks opportunities to improve the user experience while maintaining a friendly, proactive, and customer-focused approach in all communicationsProvides administrative support for data management and event platform activities, contributing to a seamless attendee experienceKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesFamiliarity with web editing, CMS or WordPress implementation and managementAnalytical and performance-driven, with basic campaign tracking experienceFoundational knowledge of digital marketing, including social media marketing, email marketing, SEO, website optimization, and content marketingExperience with martech tools and familiarity with association or event technology (HubSpot and Salesforce preferred)Basic budgeting and project coordination skillsFamiliarity with tools to streamline processes, enhancing digital efficiencyAbility to assist in creating marketing presentations and reportsStrong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on delivering clear, concise updates, effective presentations, and professional email etiquetteAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams, supporting collaboration and alignmentSelf-starter with a demonstrated ability to manage tasks and assignments independently and creativelyResourceful with a proactive attitude and a commitment to learning and growingSpecificationsMinimum Education Required : High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum Experience Required : 2 years of relevant experience through internships or other work, preferably experience working in fast paced marketing environment, a marketing agency or for an association or non-profit.Travel Required : Up to 10%Hybrid Work Policy : Teleworker : Minimum 1 day onsite per week#J-18808-Ljbffr
