Assists the Head Coach with the operations of the football program. Plans and implements on-campus recruiting events in conjunction with the Head Coach. Ensures the football program complies with NCAA rules and regulations.

Essential Functions
Organizes all travel for the team and staff including traveling with the team to ensure all team needs are met. Coordinates recruiting events, community service, fundraising, and alumni events. Organizes opportunities for the football program to connect with campus student organizations. Organizes and maintains various databases to update and monitor the NCAA Eligibility Center and admission status of incoming freshmen. Serves as head coach’s liaison with campus departments as assigned. Assists the head coach with social media and branding of the football program. Organizes head coach speaking engagements and calendar. Organizes recruiting weekends and prospect itineraries for Official and Unofficial campus visits. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Two years of experience with a collegiate football program. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume environment. Ability to work nights, weekends, and varied hours. Commitment to adhere to NCAA and OVC rules and regulations as well as University policies and procedures. Football philosophy must strongly complement that of the head coach.
Preferred Qualifications
Four years of experience with a collegiate football program.
Work Hours
The scope of the position requires weekend and evening work and occasionally requires out-of-town travel.
Compensation And Benefits
Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Pay grade 7. Benefits Information
Tennessee Tech offers a competitive benefits package. Benefits include the accumulation of two vacation days per month and one sick leave day per month, and thirteen (13) University holidays. Other benefits include medical and life insurance (shared cost with the university), retirement, optional 401k, and educational benefits.
