Maintain departmental accounts, which includes daily balancing and monthly and yearly reconciliation.

Essential Functions
Keep and Maintain records of expenditures for 15 accounts, which includes requisitions and inter-departmental transfers, monitoring budgetary spending, balancing accounts monthly and reconciling yearly.
Facilitates scholarships and awards to assist students with their financial needs.
Check and correct syllabi for accessibility to all students.
Process Dual Service contracts.
Order and maintain office supplies.
Process for Student worker appointments, leave approvals and payroll.
Process all departmental Procard Reports monthly using Chrome River.
Coordinate with the Dean’s office to process all Faculty and Student Travel.
Coordinate with faculty on IDEA evaluations.
Maintain key inventory for department.
Create room schedules in Excel.
Do basic computer trouble shooting for faculty offices and classrooms.
Maintain printer cartridges inventory.
Assist faculty and students with procedural questions and practical concerns. Make copies, scan documents, answer phones and distribute mail.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED with at least two years of professional accounting or clerical experience OR a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Excellent accounting/bookkeeping skills. Knowledge of software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Banner.
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Banner Finance and Banner Student databases. Experience with Eaglebuy, Scholarweb, and Chrome River.
Work Hours
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Pay grade 6. Benefits Information
