With a focus on enrollment growth, relationship development, and program expansion, the incumbent will develop and coordinate recruiting activities and produce electronic and published content for business and (current and prospective) student audiences using a range of mediums, including publications, videos, podcasts, social media posts, and infographics. The manager will oversee an integrated content management system for websites, social media, and other platforms while optimizing visibility in search results.
The incumbent will support the director in the development and delivery of programs involving academic departments, chairs of excellence, and CoB centers. The incumbent will market on-ground and online graduate and undergraduate programs, and facilitate the expansion of partnerships among alumni, industry leaders, professional groups, corporations, and business organizations. The manager will support CoB training and certification programs, student internships, speaker opportunities, and a graduate Fellowship Program. Serving as an expert liaison, the manager will facilitate the development of industry-focused content and develop relationships with corporations, community banks, accounting firms, and government and other non-profit organizations, and market a variety of training programs, workshops, and conferences in areas such as business leadership, HR, logistics, supply chain management, financial services, decision sciences, and AI. The manager will provide leads for sponsorship opportunities, leverage corporate tuition reimbursement and related benefit programs, and represent the director, dean, and college in virtual and on-site meetings and events with a geographic focus on regional markets, including but not limited to Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Huntsville (AL), and Memphis. In direct support of the CoB mission, the manager will work with the director, college leadership, and faculty to coordinate and create proposals, presentations, and student development activities to meet the business and economic development needs of Tennessee by providing business solutions, tracking market trends, and working with university partners to build awareness, identify opportunities, enhance the reputation, and increase the impact of the College of Business and Tennessee Tech.
Building on these and other activities, interactions, and relationships, the manager will assist CoB leadership, center directors, the Office of Communications and Marketing, and University Advancement in cultivating donors and growing partnership opportunities.

Essential Functions
Enrollment Growth and Partnership-Focused Content Creation (Physical and Virtual)
Coordinate, develop, produce, and deliver content to business and (current and prospective) student audiences using a range of mediums, including articles, videos, podcasts, social media posts, and infographics. Oversee an integrated content management system for websites, social media posts, and other platforms while optimizing visibility in search results. Provide updates and present opportunities to faculty and administration and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of follow-up, new lead generation, and partnership interactions.
Proposal and Program Development, Marketing, and Delivery
Support the CoB chairs of excellence, executives in residence, center directors, and departments in the development and marketing of training programs, workshops, and conferences in areas including business leadership, HR, logistics, supply chain management, financial services, decision science, and AI. Facilitate a Graduate Fellowship Program. Track market trends, and work with university partners to identify opportunities, build awareness, and increase the impact of the College of Business and Tennessee Tech across the region. Leverage corporate tuition reimbursement and related benefit programs, and represent the college at meetings, recruitment events, and other interactions with a focus on regional markets, including Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Huntsville (AL), and Memphis.
Event Planning and Coordination
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of college events, including those hosted by the college, its departments, centers, and chairs of excellence. Actively participate in external networking, professional organization, and business events. Work with the director, college leadership, chairs of excellence, and faculty to coordinate and create compelling proposals, presentations, and student engagement activities tailored to meet specific partner needs and business solutions.
Relationship Management and Coordination (internal and external)
Working with college leadership, Communications and Marketing, and University Advancement, leverage relationships and communicate leads for grants, sponsorship, and other funding opportunities by engaging and cultivating alumni, corporate, professional organizations, and other partners. Serve to enhance our reputation, increase enrollment, and discover and grow partnership opportunities for the college, students, faculty, chairs of excellence, and CoB centers.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field. Experience with social media management, CMS, Search Engine Optimization tools. At least two years of social media, marketing, development, and/or recruitment experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence decision-makers; demonstrated ability to build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively; ability to recognize opportunities and match them with college strategic priorities. Ability to build marketing campaigns within industry segments using the latest CMS and search engine optimization tools.
Work Hours
Moderate travel for recruiting and event participation is required for this position.

Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Pay grade 10. Benefits Information
Tennessee Tech offers a competitive benefits package. Benefits include the accumulation of two vacation days per month and one sick leave day per month, and thirteen University holidays.
