Essential Functions
Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate communication courses including interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, health communication, rhetoric, and / or organizational communication, and be committed to the continued improvement of teaching using research-based practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in communication; experience in debate and / or forensics. Ability to teach in a variety of undergraduate and graduate communication courses including interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, health communication, rhetoric, and / or organizational communication, and be committed to the continued improvement of teaching using research-based practices. Willingness to teach on-line is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience coaching debate and forensics is preferred. Ability to teach classes in argumentation and debate and / or persuasion preferred. Practice / training in teaching online and / or hybrid classes preferred. Ability to teach and / or conduct research in Artificial Intelligence preferred.
