Duties & Responsibilities/Principal Activities: (White's Creek House Manager)
- Ensure the Home and Grounds are safe, clean, and tidy at all times, in accordance with standards established by TNV and TDMHSAS.
- Ensure adequate and healthy foods are available in the Home at all times, including 72 hour non-perishable food supply.
- Develop a weekly menu to be prepared and ensure it is posted for client and staff review
- Responsible for upkeep and operations of the home, including but not limited to: meal preparation and cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery and supply shopping, etc.
- Actively participate in resident’s activities including outings and groups.
- Collaborate with Resident, Care Coordinator and other Treatment professionals for the development and implementation of Treatment/Care Plans, identifying Mental Health, Independent Living and/or Step-down Goals and any other mental health or behavioral concerns.
- Responsible for prompting and physically assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s). This includes bathing, grooming, cleaning, chores, and other daily activities of independent living.
- Available 24/7 for all Shift Questions and Needs; provide staffing coverage during
- Ensure adequate staffing for all shifts; develop and post a Weekly Staff
- Collect Time sheets from all TNV and Agency Residential
- Conduct periodic House Meeting with Residents to review rules, client rights, discuss menu options,
- Report and Review all Resident Incidents and Concerns to the Program Manager and Clinical Director
- Conduct a monthly Fire/Inclement Weather Drills
- Maintain an onsite Filing System for all Household
- Ensure all Resident Records are uploaded to the Document Library.
- Guide and support staff on shift to ensure the shift runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Responsible for ensuring TNV Policies and Procedures are maintained on shift by all staff.
- Serve as trainer for temporary agency staff as designated by the Program Manager.
- Complete required ECR documentation within established timeframes; Incident reports, Shift Notes, etc.
- Provide client Medication Assistance as noted within the Medication Assistance Record (MAR) and document appropriately in the MAR. Any medication questions or concerns should be addressed immediately with the Program Manager and/or Clinical Director.
- Report all maintenance related issues to the Program Manager and Program Director.
- Support and enable good relations with residents by communicating respectfully at all times.
- Maintain high standards of personal accountability by being a role model for residents in dress and behavior at all times.
- Respond to crisis in a prompt, effective and collaborative manner.
- Punctuality and attendance maintained on every shift.
- Participate in a shift summary/transition meeting at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Demonstrate mastery of the areas of training designated for your role in Relias
- Attend all General Staff
- Authorized agent for an assigned Agency Credit Card to be used for program related
- Responsible for completing an itemized monthly expense report for all Agency Credit Card
- Personal Compliance with all TNV Policies and
- Comply with the Federal Confidentiality Law and HIPPA regulations and guidelines to protect the rights of the
- All other duties as appropriate and as needed that are essential to the House operations and basic client care but not necessarily included within description of
Qualifications: Must be able to demonstrate a means of reliable transportation to and from work. Training in proper crisis prevention initiatives and universal precautions required. A minimum of a high school diploma with 2 years of qualifying experience working with individuals with mental illness or developmental disabilities and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Certification as a CNA/CNT preferred. The House Manager provides oversight for all operations of the household, and is expected to perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the mission and core values of TNV and comply with all TNV policies and procedures, OSHA, CMS, HIPPA, local, state, and federal regulations.

- Familiarity with Medication Administration and Recording (MAR) processes.
- Knowledge of Universal Precautions, First Aid and CPR.
- Ability to access, document and manage data in an Electronic Client Record
- Ability to physically assist residents with everyday activities and grooming.
- Ability to climb stairs
