Overview
TenneX Legal is looking for a highly skilled Texas-based paralegal with a background in family law and civil litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong research and drafting skills to support attorneys with preparing essential legal documents.
Responsibilities
- Draft motions, pleadings, oppositions, amendments, and related filings.
- Prepare documents for default judgments, modifications of custody and child support, enforcement motions, and counterclaims.
- Review case dockets and correct deficiencies in legal filings.
- Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with Texas court rules and procedures.
- Communicate with attorneys to discuss case filings and document revisions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a paralegal specializing in Texas family law and civil litigation.
- Expertise in legal drafting, research, and procedural filings.
- Strong understanding of Texas court procedures, case law, and e-filing requirements.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and professional communication skills.
This is a fully remote position with a consistent flow of legal document preparation work.
