We are looking for a Customer Relationship Manager who has passion for Tennis, with a strong understanding of the players, the tournaments, and the day-to-day activity on and off the court. Working closely with our agencies and marketing team, the Direct-to-Consumer Customer Relationship Manager will build the CRM & email marketing strategy for the Tennis Channel Direct-to-Consumer Streaming service.
The role is based in our Santa Monica, CA office.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $68,000 to $75,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute data-driven CRM strategies to drive customer engagement and retention across email marketing, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
- Partner with key stakeholders to define the strategy, objectives, and KPIs for lifecycle marketing campaigns, including onboarding, engagement, retention, upsell, and winback initiatives.
- Build and manage the CRM campaign calendar and creative development (graphics, personalized messaging/content) in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Manage the customer database and lead audience segmentation efforts to improve customer conversion and retention, while reducing churn and unsubscribe rates.
- Own the day-to-day execution of all campaigns, ensuring consistent brand messaging across various segmented customer journeys.
- Continuously monitor email/push performance and provide dashboards, analytics, reports and insights to key stakeholders, highlighting opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Define and execute A/B tests to improve open rates, click to open rates, engagement rates, and conversion rates.
- 3 to 4 years’ experience with email and push marketing with success in personalization, optimization, and journey development (experience in the streaming space preferred)
- Expert understanding of email and SMS marketing, including customer segmentation, customer journeys, and email analytics
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and email marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce, Braze, HubSpot, or similar)
- Experience identifying and creating custom audience segments and customer journeys
- Demonstrated track record of developing strategies based on business objectives and executing CRM programs that delivered measurable business results
- Understanding of data privacy in relation to email marketing and email databases
- Strong copywriting and sports editorial writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging content for tennis fans
- Superior organizational, project management and communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders with a keen eye to identify business priorities
